The local Real Estate market of Brevard NC has not seen the ridiculously outrages value appreciations that so many of the local Real Estate Markets around the country have seen and consequently Brevard has seen less of a down market. As of 11/1/09 in the mailing city of Brevard there are 54 homes under $200k, 51 homes from $200-$350k and 64 homes for $350k+ listed for sale in the MLS. While these statistics show the amount of sales are down and listings are up for some reason we have not seen the overall sales price reduce that much. More so in the higher price ranges.

Transylvania County has 4 Elementary Schools, 2 Middle Schools, and 3 High Schools with Brevard Elementary, Brevard Middle, and Brevard High serving students and families within the Brevard Mailing City. There are also a few private options for families seeking more personalized or religious curriculums.
